Electrostatic Laboratory

The modern electrostatic laboratory is equipped with special instruments for measuring electrical and electrostatic quantities of textile raw materials, fabrics and textile products at standard relative humidities (part of the requirements of the subject standards for protective clothing and clothing suitable for EPA premises).
These include measurements of specific surface resistance, internal resistance, triboelectric charging, point-to-point resistance and charge drop measurements (fabrics with conductive fibres or materials with surface antistatic treatment).
The electrostatic laboratory is thus equipped to measure ESD discharge (ElectroStatic Discharge).
